Jetpack Journeys
Coursera 2D Platformer assignment. Changes are:
1. Added Jetpack to the player that can be activated with up (W), together with its particle & sound effect, and fuel meter at the top right of the screen. Also added fuel cans as a new pickup type for refueling.
2. Introduced a timer. In level 1, timer acts as a finishing "tier", where quickest finish gets gold, slowest gets bronze award. In level 2, the player needs to finish the level before the timer runs out. Checkpoints now act as timer bonus as well.
3. Introduced sign posts. If a player stops over a sign post, they can read its contents.
4. Introduced a new damaging tile (spikes). Spikes are used throughout Level 2 as an extra challenge at the top of the level. Unlike acid, it's solid, so the player cannot go in it.
5. To help the player a little bit, made the pickups also respawn together with the player, when the player character dies and respawns.
